COLUMBUS, Ohio With the early signing period 10 months away, Ohio State football’s 2022 recruiting running back race is heating up.
Among a handful of interesting targets, there are two in particular who appear to be distancing themselves from the rest of the field Pennsylvania’s Nicholas Singleton and Georgia’s Damari Alston.

The Oregon Ducks and linebacker coach Ken Wilson have put together back-to-back elite recruiting hauls at the position.
In the class of 2020, Oregon secured five-star linebackers Justin Flowe and Noah Sewell, as well as four-star athlete Jaden Navarrette.
In December, the Ducks signed All-American linebacker Keith Brown, out of Lebanon High School, and California four-star prospect Jonathan Flowe.
Hoping to keep that hot streak going into 2022, Oregon made a big move this week, entering the top eight for 247Sports five-star prospect Shawn Murphy.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound ‘backer, out of Unity Reed High School (Manassas, Virginia), is rated the nation’s No. 17 overall prospect, No. 1 inside linebacker and trimmed his list to Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon and Penn State:
