Officers responded to the call of shots fired during the morning of Feb. 27. Click the video player above for headlines from WXII 12 News.When they arrived, they found a victim with gunshot wounds in a vehicle belonging to Mary Magdalene McKenzie. The victim was taken to a local trauma center, police said.McKenzie was not in her vehicle, but a witness said she had been earlier, according to police. Police discovered McKenzie had health issues requiring medication, which was found inside the vehicle. She was last seen at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Police asked the public to help find her and then located her safely later on Feb. 27 and said she was safe.
