Vail’s vibrancy last summer and through the winter was in part due to bending some existing rules. The question now is how to maintain that vibrancy.
Perhaps the biggest change to last summer’s rules is “common consumption areas.” Those areas allow people to wander around with an adult beverage in hand. Business owners and guests have given glowing reviews to that change. The change was enabled by an executive order from Gov. Jared Polis.

Ray Dalio, the billionaire founder of Bridgewater Associates, launched a new personality test.
The test proffers comprehensive insights into your traits to help you better understand yourself.
The test arrives at a time when the $2 billion personality-test industry is gaining influence.

Youth mental health service headspace has opened the doors to its long-awaited Syndal centre to young people in Monash seeking support.
The Syndal headspace opened in late-April at 265 Blackburn Road, Mount Waverley. It is operated by a consortium of service providers, led by Alfred Health, including Monash Youth Services, Access Employment Services, EACH, Gateway LLEN, Hawthorn Football Club and Launch Housing.
The site is located close to public transport and schools, making it easier for young people aged 12 to 25 to access support for mental health, physical health, sexual health, alcohol and other drug services, as well as work and study.

New interactive map to help make more inclusive public space for everyone in Monash

YourGround will map local streets, parks, trails and recreational spaces, sharing the often hidden experiences of safety for women and gender-diverse people.
Statistics show that movement and access is restricted for women and gender-diverse people due to fear, violence and harassment: while 80% of Australian men report feeling safe while walking alone at night, a 2019 Community Council for Australia report notes that only 50% of women say the same.[i]
