The Stuttgart City Council voted to condemn two properties during its regular council meeting held Tuesday night at city hall. All aldermen were present.
The council voted to condemn 906 E. Cleveland St., owned by Willie and Geraldean Hayden, and 1107 E. 1st Street, owned by Lacresha Scaife and Patrick Kimble, in accordance with City Ordinance 1836.
During the meeting, alderman Teddy Holt said he had spoken with the owner of the Cleveland St. property and that he was trying to repair the property to sell. Holt motioned to table condemning 906 E. Cleveland St. to give the owner more time. The motion did not receive a second.
