Conejo Valley trail: What we know about changes happening on the trail

Officials agreed to the trail change in negotiating an 82-acre donation to the conservation agency last year. In the grand scheme of things, it is not a huge departure from the old one, said Brian Stark, the agency s administrator. This one works for safe passage across the road. The donation by the Rasnow family last year helped to connect natural areas in what was a patchwork of private and public land within the agency s Southern Ridge Open Space. Stark expects the new section of trail to open by May 14. The agency manages about 150 miles of trails in Los Robles, Wildwood, Lang Ranch and elsewhere. Couple seen arguing in Walmart parking lot arrested for theft

Galesburg Police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot early afternoon on May 3rd for reports of a domestic dispute taking place between a male subject and a female subject. The couple was seen pushing a cart full of merchandise through the parking lot. Police arrived on scene and made contact with the subjects: 55-year old Brian Stark and 38-year old Wynita Crowe both of Galesburg. An asset protection employee for Walmart told police the couple had "ticket switched" the items in the cart, according to police reports. The couple paid just over $56 for the merchandise that was actually valued at over $400. Both Stark and Crowe were placed under arrest for Felony Retail Theft and taken to the Knox County Jail. Crowe also had a valid McDonough County Warrant with a $10,000 bond.
