NO JAB NO ENTRY POLICY FOR MARKET VENDORS 04/08/2021 The Ministry of Local Government through the Municipal Councils continues to ensure that all Municipal Market Vendors around the country receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This is in light of the Government’s ‘No Jab No Job’ policy.   ‘‘Since experiencing the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Municipal Councils have implemented a number of safety measures for all Fijians. The Municipal Councils have supported the Ministry of Health in the awareness programme, decontamination of sites and in the vaccination campaigns. Drive-thru sites were set up for vaccination and swabbing making it convenient and safer for the people,’’ said the Minister for Local Government Premila Kumar.

Humdard Incorporated member, Jiten Lal says their group consists of 10 former Fijians whose main objective is to assist underprivileged people in Fiji. He says they do activities such as selling food packs and organising charity shows to raise funds that are then sent to their member, Premila Kumar in Fiji who is in charge of facilitating the assistance in Fiji.
