Karnataka government declared results of the Class 12 (II year Pre-University Course) students on Tuesday, and the students are advised to check their results on the official website of the PUC department pue.kar.nic.in, said Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar.
Candidates repeating the board exam this year have been given 35 per cent grace marks and over 76,000 candidates who have registered for the exam this year fall into this category. All those students who re-appeared for exams this year have been promoted, said the minister.
Of the total 5.90 lakh students who had registered for the exam, as many as 3.35 lakh were boys and 3.31 lakh were girls. A total of 1,95,650 students got distinction while 1.47 lakh got second division.
