Athletics Ireland have announced that and national senior Indoor Micro Meet will take place in Abbotstown this weekend.
This will be exclusively for carded athletes who have realistic hopes of qualifying for The European Indoor Championships or Olympic Games the Europeans are due take placed in Torun Poland from March 5th to the 7th.
A number of Donegal Athletes are expected to take part in this Micro Meet, including Mark English, John Kelly, Sommer Lecky and Brendan Boyce.

The hosting of the Summer Olympics will continue to be under scrutiny following the declaration that Tokyo has entered a state of emergency due to COVID 19.
The restrictions will go into force tomorrow and last until at least February 7th.
11 thousand athletes are due to converge on the Japanese capital for the start of the games on July 23rd.
Milford man Brendan Boyce has already qualified for the Walk event while fellow Donegal athlete Mark English and Letterkenny AC s Ann Marie McGlynn are seeking to hit the standard for the 800m and the Marathon.
Raphoe duo Chloe and Sam Magee are also targeting qualification in Badminton s mixed doubles.
Brendan Boyce set a new personal best over 30km in Cork on Saturday.
The Finn Valley AC man finished the event in a time of two hours and 11 minutes, his previous best for 30km was two hours and 14 minutes.
The Milford native has already qualified for the Tokyo Olympics and will compete in the 50km race walk when the games begin in the Summer of 2021.
