I’ve followed Albany politics for a solid decade now even run for mayor as a form of protest of the general culture of one-party rule. Namely, most of our institutions current managers do not care very much outside of required duties. Often, left-right politics frame the conflict between workers being policed and large property owners whose interests always come first since they have the money to invest in the economy or fund campaigns, nay the election system itself.
