Report: Bow Police Chief failed to investigate reported sex assault

Bow Police Chief Margaret Lougee failed to document or investigate a reported sexual assault against a high school student in 2016, before she was police chief, an outside review by the town has found.
In 2016, while serving as the school resource officer at Bow High School and before she was chief, Lougee received a report of sexual assault by a student at the school but did not document that report or enter any information into the department’s records, according to a 2020 audit by Municipal Resources, Inc.
