Pretty Creek, one of Hilcorp Alaskas three small west side natural gas fields, last produced in 2019, the company said in the 43rd plan of development for the Pretty Creek unit, a revised version of which was submitted to the Alaska Division of Oil and Gas March 22.

Bob Gardes of Lafayette, Louisiana, entered Alaska last year with the three-fold purpose of becoming a natural gas producer by acquiring bypassed and/or underdeveloped gas deposits in the Cook Inlet basin, securing off-take commitments to sell gas to Alaska utilities and large industrial end users on a long-term basis, and developing, building and operating gas and power infrastructure that supports the use of the clean burning fuel.

Vision Resources, a Gardes Holdings company, has entered into a five-year natural gas sales and purchase agreement with Alaska Pipeline Co. that will result in APCs utility affiliate Enstar Natural Gas Co. distributing gas from Visions North Fork unit. The field is north of Homer on Alaskas southern Kenai Peninsula.
The agreement was filed in February by Enstar with the Regulatory Commission of Alaska, which oversees supply contracts for regulated utilities. Enstar provides natural gas distribution service to the municipality of Anchorage and portions of the Matanuska-Susitna and Kenai Peninsula boroughs.
Hilcorp Alaska has filed plans of development with the Alaska Division of Oil and Gas for two small Cook Inlet gas fields, Ivan River and Lewis River.
Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission records show that, this January, the two fields combined accounted for some 3.2% of the natural gas produ.
