Having noticed that Debbie and Chas are still at odds with Charity and her spiralling behaviour, Al saw the opportunity to set his scheme in motion by inviting the vulnerable Dingle to have a drink.
As the pair began to bond, Charity soon revealed the details of Debbie and Priya s plan. Full of self-loathing, she then offered to take things upstairs, but Al rejected her advances.
Later, it was revealed that Al recorded the whole conversation on his phone. He then played the recording to Kim to prove it was Debbie who stole her money and framed him. ITV
To really add insult to injury, Al also played the recording in The Woolpack, letting Debbie know that Charity had invited him upstairs.
