WARR ACRES, Oklahoma -
Warr Acres police released the first image of a vehicle that investigators believe could be connected to a metro hit-and-run.
The released image comes two days after 35-year-old Dewayne Johnson was hit early Wednesday.
Johnson was on the side of NW 39th Expressway, near N. Grove with lawn care equipment around 5 a.m. when he was hit. We were able to locate a white in color, possibly a 4 door older model car, said Warr Acres PD Deputy Chief John Gray.
Gray said the car had tinted windows and what looked like darker rims.

Most kids used their kitchens as classrooms last year. Because of it, many parents opted out of regular back to school requirements like annual vaccines.
The Oklahoma City-County Health Department said parents should get their children s back to school shots sooner than later.
The number of kids who got back to school shots took a sharp drop in 2020.
Across the U.S., 14% of parents skipped the annual immunizations and 13% of Oklahoma parents did the same. That number jumped to 20% in the state for teen vaccine rates.
Health experts point to the pandemic for the decline. A lot of the kids were doing virtual school. They weren t in the school setting, so they didn t have to have those shot records, said OCCHD s Public Health Nurse Ariel Whitehorn.

OKLAHOMA CITY -
Oklahoma City police arrested a woman Friday for allegedly trying to abandon her child. Investigators said they believe drugs or alcohol played a role.
Some residents who talked with News 9 said the woman looked for help, but police reports said when offered help, the woman took off. She was all over the place, and was just very sporadic, said Capt. Valeri Littlejohn, with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Police reports said the woman, Misty Davis, went into a community with her 3-year-old child. There she asked people to take her to the YWCA. One person called the organization, but Davis refused to answer the necessary questions and ran.
