Richie McDonald Departs Lonestar To Focus On Frontmen Of Country

LONESTAR lead singer RICHIE McDONALD has departed the group once again in order to pursue a full-time opportunity with his other band, FRONTMEN OF COUNTRY. The latter group, which signed an exclusive deal with THE KINKEAD ENTERTAINMENT AGENCY for live concert bookings, consists of McDONALD, TIM RUSHLOW (former lead singer of LITTLE TEXAS) and LARRY STEWART (lead singer of RESTLESS HEART). They have revealed nearly 20 live concert dates set for 2021, kicking off FRIDAY, APRIL 16th at the CHOCTAW CASINO RESORT in GRANT, OK.

Specialty re/insurer Brit is merging its US service company operation Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU) and its managing general underwriter Ambridge to create a single MGA managing more than $450 million in premium in the US and a further $110 million written by international affiliates.

With this week’s launch of streaming service BBC Select, one of the world’s most recognizable media brands is joining North America’s streaming ranks on its own terms for the very first time.
The new platform joins an international channels portfolio that already includes BBC Earth, BBC Brit and BBC First. There’s also Stateside streamer BritBox, BBC Studios’ joint venture with ITV Studios. It’s fair to wonder why a platform like BritBox isn’t merely expanded or even rebranded to cover BBC Select programming, but top brass are confident that there’s enough of the Beeb to go around, and in this case, serve a specific purpose.
