Dua Lipa, J Hus, and Arlo Parks triumphed at the 2021 Brit Awards, which took place at the O2, in a show that felt like the glorious beginning of a return to normality. The 25-year-old pop sensation Dua Lipa took home British Female Solo Artist for the second time, plus Mastercard Album of the Year; rapper J Hus won British Male Solo Artist; while 20-year-old Arlo Parks nabbed Breakthrough Artist. Girl band Little Mix (who lost a member and gained two pregnancies in the past few months) won British Group, and Harry Styles’ Watermelon Sugar was awarded British Single.
