Rosseti to help construct Europe s largest PV project

Portuguese renewables firm Rosseti Engenharia will participate in the construction of what it says will be the largest photovoltaic project in Europe, use to start this week.  The Francisco Pizarro project comprises a photovoltaic solar park that will have an installed capacity of 590MWp power, providing clean energy to 375,000 people per year. The construction of park, which is the responsibility of the Spanish company Iberdrola, will start this week and will have approximately one thousand people involved in the construction process. This solar project will occupy an estimated area of 1300 hectares, in an extension that covers two municipalities in the province of Cáceres in western Spain.
