San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, together with the San Juan local government and national government officials, were at the Greenhills Shopping Center to mark the milestone. Among them were Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, COVID-19 testing czar Vince Dizon, and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez.
Zamora said that as of July 11, the city has already administered 96,610 first doses to its residents, which is equivalent to 112.18 percent of its target population to achieve herd immunity, while 29,313 residents received their second dose.
Secretary Dizon and Secretary Duque lauded the LGU for its fast and efficient vaccination program.
