KENT CITY, Mich. The COVID-19 pandemic has kept families and friends from gathering as much as they d like, and that s just one of the reasons why a reunion this week was so special for 16 siblings originally from Kent City, whose ages range from 65 to 91.
13 ON YOUR SIDE first met the Anderson family back in 2019 when they held a reunion at their family farm. No one knew at the time that celebration would be the last time they d all get together for almost two years.
Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited has expanded its operations into Freetown Sierra Leone where it is planning a 20MWp-50MWp Solar PV in one year and another 160MW to be known as Bengongor Hydro Power plant in four years.
The move, according to the country’s biggest Independent Power Producer forms part of its vision to diversify and expand its operations into the West African sub region after making enormous strides in Ghana’s power sector.
The two projects, Development Manager of the company, Elikplim Apetorgbor, explains, will cost around US$700million. He said the 20MWp – 50MWp Solar PV plant deployment by Sunon Asogli Power is urgently needed to augment power supply in Freetown and other parts of the country as well as to complement power supply for the future construction works of the 160MW Bengongor Hydro Power plant in four years.

Raymond Hansen, age 12, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hansen, 103 Seventh St., was taken to Mercy Hospital Tuesday evening after being knocked from his sled by a car driven by Claus Anderson Jr. on Haring Street earlier in the evening. According to reports the Hansen boy was on his sled hitched behind a horse-drawn sleigh. Claus Anderson, Francis Anderson and Howard Colby were on their way to the Lincoln skating rink. Seeing the boy ahead of him Claus states that he sounded his horn and the boy went across the street in front of the Anderson car. Claus applied the brakes and the car slewed into the curb, striking the boy and knocking him from his sled, he stated. The boy was taken to the hospital where an X-ray revealed no broken bones and only minor injuries to his head. He left the hospital this morning.
