(CPPC) averaged at P35.3853 per kilowatt hour (kWh), with generation rate spiking significantly high at P1,470.90 per kWh for the month of September last year.  “Kung mapapatunayan na hindi makatwiran ang singil ng VECO, dapat ibalik nila ang binayad ng mga kunsyumer. DAGUPAN CITY, Dec. 29 (PIA) -  The Regional Research, Development and Innovation Committee in the Ilocos (RRDIC-1), as the research and innovation coordinating arm of the Regional Development Council in the Ilocos (RDC-1), has launched a series of webinars  to endorse seven technologies born from government-funded researches. Regional Director Armando Ganal of the Department  of Science and Technology in Ilocos, who sits as RRDIC chair,  said the webinars aim to introduce the features and potential benefits of the technologies to the local government units and other interested adopters. “Technology generates new technologies. It  supports the growth of biotechnology industry in the Philippines and contributes to the macroeconomic growth of the country. Local scientists will also have more opportunity to hone their skills, Ganal said.
