The Regional Transit Commission is one vote closer to being completed.
At the Tuesday, Mar. 10 City Council meeting Fort Saskatchewan voted in favour of joining the Regional Transit Commission, which will connect Fort Saskatchewan via public transit to its neighbouring municipalities.

The City has been deliberating the pros and cons of joining the Commission since its inception by the City of Edmonton in Oct. 2018. Fort Saskatchewan’s City Council directed Administration to provide a report detailing the costs and benefits of joining the Commission and to make a recommendation. At the Mar. 3 regular council meeting, City Administration recommended joining the commission.
