Pupils have been presented with a bronze award from Christian Aidâs Global Neighbours Scheme.
From litter picks to promoting Fair Trade products, pupils and staff at Brant Broughton Church of England and Methodist Primary School have been working hard to take their place as global citizens.
The scheme celebrates schools that encourage pupils to learn about global poverty and the Christian responsibility to tackle it, as well as giving them the tools to play a confident part in creating a fairer world.

– Update at 4.30pm: A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident, police said.
The Lincolnshire Co-op store on Woodhall Drive in Lincoln has been robbed at knife point on Sunday morning.
It happened at around 9.30 am on February 14, when a white man wearing dark clothing entered the Ermine store.
Police said he had a dark hooded top and a face mask when he entered the store and demanded money whilst holding a knife.
He then grabbed some scratch cards and ran away.

Brant Broughton man, 33, sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court after fracturing manâs jaw in Newark

A single punch left a man needing surgery to a broken jaw after he was attacked outside a pub.
The punch to the face by Sam Bagworth made the victim collapse to the ground unconscious during the incident in Cartergate, Newark.
Bagworth had left a pub in the area and soon after began speaking with the victim. The interaction became heated between the pair and a number of onlookers intervened in the argument.

A marked police car was also in the area at the time, having noticed the disturbance at around 2am on December 15, 2019, and remained there until most of the people around had dispersed.

Most parts of the Advertiser area have seen a decrease in coronavirus cases in the past week, some by as much as 55%.
However, a few areas have seen a rise in cases, with one part increasing by as much as 116%.
