If you were going to come down to Buffalo to watch the ball drop tonight, officials are saying not to bother. The streets around it will be blocked off.
While it s a huge tradition to watch the Buffalo ball drop at Roosevelt Square, this year it will not be open to the public.
According to WIVB, while it will still be happening on the Electric Tower, you will not be able to access it. The following streets will be closed off:
Washington Street between Genessee and East Huron Streets from 5 pm Thursday until 2 am on Friday
