Serial shoplifters, drink drivers and domestic abusers - the latest criminals to appear before Grimsby magistrates

Violent troublemakers who have attacked police officers during angry confrontations and a host of other bullies are among those who have been punished at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court.
Others to land themselves in hot water include serial shoplifters, drink-drivers and even a man who was originally said to have run naked down a street after throwing off his clothes.
Some of them have been locked up as the depressing rollcall of criminals appearing at the court continued to grow.

A pair of blazes damaged kitchens in Santa Barbara and Goleta on Saturday, with one incident providing a reminder about how to handle a grease fire.
At 6:50 p.m., personnel from the Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded to an incident in an apartment at a six-unit complex in the 1400 block of Euclid Avenue in Santa Barbara.
A dire situation already exists, with delays well in excess of 14 days and 30 days at peak, he said. This is a situation that will only get worse. The appellant has produced overwhelming evidence as to the existence of need that provides strong support for the scheme. If there is any landscape harm, it s an overwhelming case to outweigh any such harm.

The inquiry into controversial plans for a crematorium in the Norfolk countryside is under way.
The planning inspector opened the virtual public inquiry to develop 10 acres of farmland off Brandon Road, Weeting, for a crematorium, accompanying memorial garden, car park and vehicle access on Tuesday April 27.
The land at Weeting at the junction with Brandon Road and Harling Drove where plans for a crematorium were refused by Breckland Council.
