Brandon Evans joined 40/29 News as weeknight anchor in April 2021. Prior to joining 40/29 News, Brandon anchored and reported at 40/29’s Hearst Television sister station, KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Brandon also anchored and reported at WTVC in Chattanooga, Tennessee, plus he’s reported, anchored and been a digital producer at various media outlets in Georgia. Brandon started his career reporting sports for television, radio and print. Brandon is a graduate of Maryville College in Maryville, TN, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing and Communications. Evans was a four-year letterman as running back while playing for the Scots.

Courtesy photo When the pits had cooled at the High School BBQ state cook-off April 23-24, the Bulldog FFA BBQ team had a share of the grand championship.  “It’s a highlight, that’s for sure,” said Brandon Evans, the Burnet High School agriculture science teacher. “There’s a lot of highlights we’ve had here at this ag chapter. We’ve had a state FFA president. We’ve had animals win grand champion at major stock shows. I would say this is up there with those as a highlight.”

Man Arrested After Stealing $150 Worth Of Lottery Tickets From A Prescott Valley Store

Read More News at Prescott Valley Police have arrested a man wanted in the theft of lottery tickets from a local Circle K. Police were looking for 40-year-old Brandon Evans back on March 14th after he entered the store in the 61-hundred block of East State Route 69 at around 9:45 p.m. He walked behind the counter and took $150 in Arizona Lottery scratcher tickets and left the store. Evans was found Tuesday and taken into custody. He was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on burglary charges. More

Now a Northwest Indiana city is an unlikely setting in the latest big-budget Hollywood movie adaption of the hyper-violent video game franchise. Gary – aka the Steel City, GI, the City of the Century – is one of the backdrops in the flick Mortal Kombat about the nefarious Outworld Emperor Shao Kahn seeking to invade the Earthrealm – a film in which mystical fighters shoot lasers from their eyes, teleport, breathe hellfire, create swords out of ice and stab an opponent with a dagger forged from their own frozen blood.
