Cause of death examined as Floyd murder trial enters second week 06/04/2021|2min The trial of former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin who is charged with the murder of George Floyd has entered its second week. The court has heard from the doctor who pronounced the 46-year-old dead half an hour after he was brought to emergency. Dr. Bradford Langenfeld said he received a report from paramedics detailing what happened at the scene. The report revealed Mr Floyd did not have a pulse when they arrived and did not receive any CPR from bystanders or police. He also noted paramedics did not say whether they thought he overdosed or had a heart attack but Dr Langenfeld says he most likely died of suffocation.
