SPRINGFIELD Gov. J.B. Pritzker continued during talks this week to emphasize that the next few weeks could be the “most important” time of the coronavirus pandemic as officials wait to see if the predicted “surge” in cases, or the “surge on top of a surge” takes place.

It is important to make sure that we can trust the outcome of this and future elections. We cannot and should not tolerate an unequal
