MILWAUKEE (AP) â Eugenio Suárez hit a leadoff home run in the ninth inning against All-Star closer Josh Hader and the Cincinnati Reds beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 Saturday night in a game that included three ejections.
Suárez hit a 2-0 pitch from Hader (3-1) into the second deck of the right-field bleachers for his 18th homer.
âIt was a big moment for me and for the team,â Suárez said. âBig win, man, before the All-Star break. Everybody knows that Hader has a really good fastball. He’s one of the best closers in the game. In my mind, I was like, ‘don’t let him beat you. ”

Justin Turner and Mookie Betts each hit grand slams as the Los Angeles Dodgers blasted a season-high eight home runs in a record-setting 22-1 victory over the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday.
Dodgers starter Walker Buehler pitched six scoreless innings as Los Angeles put an All-Star Game flavor on the victory. The 22 runs scored matched a Los Angeles Dodgers record, recorded in July of 2001 at Colorado. Saturday s was a club record for runs scored in a game at Dodger Stadium.
AJ Pollock and Albert Pujols each hit two home runs for the Dodgers, who had a season-high 21 hits. Cody Bellinger and Pollock had back-to-back home runs in the first inning as the Dodgers scored five runs in the opening frame and had a nine-run lead four batters into the second.

SAN DIEGO (AP) Rookie reliever Daniel Camarena hit a stunning grand slam off Washington ace Max Scherzer and the San Diego Padres overcame an eight-run deficit, finally beating the Nationals 9-8 Thursday night on Trent Grisham’s RBI single in the ninth inning.
The Padres matched the biggest comeback in franchise history, helped by Fernando Tatis’ 28th home run and Grisham’s two-out hit.
