The opening of the art museum of luxury goods billionaire Francois Pinault was always going to be a major Parisian event. The fact that Bourse de Commerce’s launch, on 22 May, ended up coinciding with the easing of a six-month lockdown only added to the hype.
Tickets are completely sold out until the first week of July. On a visit earlier this week, the five-floor building was abuzz, inasmuch as distancing restrictions allow, with curious visitors of all ages, and in outfits occupying all points on the casual to formal spectrum.
