The third ship in Celebrity Cruises Edge-class will be larger than its sister ships and include Daniel Boulud s first restaurant at sea and the brand s first Aqua Class suites, in addition to other enhancements.
Celebrity CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo unveiled the Celebrity Beyond during a Zoom presentation with several of the ships architects, designers and star collaborators who include Boulud and Gwyneth Paltrow, who was named Celebrity s Well-Being Advisor and will introduce experiences and products from her Goop line.
The Beyond will be different in several ways from sister ships the Celebrity Edge, launched in 2018, and the Celebrity Apex, which was delivered in 2020 and will sail this summer in Greece. Celebrity Cruises is going bigger with its next vessel.
The Miami-based line on April 28 revealed that its soon-to-debut Celebrity Beyond would be a stretched version of its recently unveiled Edge Class ships, Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Edge the current size leaders in the Celebrity fleet.
Specifically, the third vessel in the Edge Class series will be 20 meters longer than its two sister ships, and a deck taller, too, the chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, Richard Fain, told cruise writers on Wednesday during a conference call on Zoom.

Celebrity Cruises is looking ahead with the unveiling of the cruise line s newest vessel, the Celebrity Beyond, set to make its debut April 27, 2022 with a sailing from Southampton, England.
The 1,073-foot-long vessel, which will be able to host 3,260 passengers in 1,646 staterooms is the third ship in the Royal Caribbean Group subsidiary s Edge Series. The collection also includes Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Edge. In total, Celebrity s fleet will contain 15 ships with the addition of the Beyond.
