LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The world’s largest formation of civilian aircraft will soon be at the La Crosse Regional Airport.
The 31st “Bonanza to Oshkosh” flight will take off from French Island Saturday on their way to EAA AirVenture in eastern Wisconsin.
About 100 planes will take part.
“It’s a real honor to have them here in La Crosse,” said Colgan Air Services president Kelly Colgan. “They were operating out of Rockford and they had some changes down there. So they chose La Crosse. It’s great for the airport and great for the city.”
