Fatherâs Day, 2021 was a hot one for the annual Fatherâs Day Car Show at The National Museum of Transportation, with temps in the mid- 90s! My son, Jeff, came by to spend some time with me on this special day and treat me to lunch at the Orthwein Center. Walking back up the hill to the car show area, there, directly in front of me, was this stunning 1950 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible. The owner, Kevin Williams must have been expecting me, for he was posed holding in his hands, the Peopleâs Choice Award trophy he won moments earlier.

AN online festive advert featuring a TV star has been released to help support traders in the town. Starring Casualty actor Jason Durr, the ad showcases the whole town encouraging residents to shop local this Christmas. The video is available to watch on Malmesbury Town Council’s Facebook page. During the ad Jason Durr, who also appeared in Heartbeat, says: “This festive season, more than ever before, our local traders here in Malmesbury need your support. “With so many fantastic indepedent stores in our town, it’s easy to find presents for everyone. “It’s no trouble to shop locally and help our amazing community to have a very merry Christmas.”
