Loss of school extracurricular sports and clubs for more than a year due to the pandemic will have a severe effect on kids’ learning and needs to be fixed, a provincial education group warns.
Responses from 1,173 schools across the province indicate only a minority of them were able to offer clubs, sports, field trips or opportunities to perform in plays or concerts since the pandemic began, states a report released by People for Education this week.
