RESIDENT TUITION AT ISSUE: The House Post-Secondary Education & Lifelong Learning Subcommittee will take up a bill (HB 747), filed by Rep. Fiona McFarland, R-Sarasota, and Rep. Joe Harding, R-Williston, that would ensure in-state tuition status for residents working outside of Florida for the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Defense or while teaching at a U.S. Department of Defense dependent school.
