The former York shopworker leaves behind girlfriend, Celine Lea, who is pregnant with their first child, and her son Marley, as well as mother Di Dowker and brothers Oli, his twin, and Ryan. Di said Dan took his own life. She said he had many friends and would leave a massive, massive void in all their lives. At his funeral at York Crematorium on April 12, York celebrant Fiona Brown shared these precious memories about Dan s life. Daniel was born on November 7, 1997 and was older than his twin brother, Oliver, by one minute. When he was little, Daniel was known to the family as Danny, though by the time he went to school, Danny insisted on being known as Dan.

Following his funeral last week in York, Di fought back tears to tell how Dan had suffered from depression and how his death would leave a massive, massive void in all their lives. Di, of Heworth, said: He took his own life. He had been battling demons for a long time. She said her son often hid his low mood behind a smile. When he was depressed or unhappy he didn t want other people to feel down and would do his best to put a smile on their face - he was the class clown.
ORGANISERS of the Bournemouth Air Festival remain confident that they will be able to host this year s event – despite three other summer UK airshows being grounded due to the pandemic. In the past few days it is has been announced that Southport, Sunderland and Blackpool air shows will not be taking place this year. Southport Air Show was due to take place on July 3 and 4, Sunderland was pencilled in for July 23, 24 and 25, and Blackpool was fixed for August 7 and 8. Bournemouth Air Festival director Jon Weaver highlighted that the event is due to take place in early September, 10 weeks after final stage of the Government s road map out of lockdown.
