Gardaí Seize Four Cars In Clare And One Man Arrested As Part Of Operation Curb

Clare FM 17th December 2020 Gardaí in Clare have have seized four cars which were found to have dangerous defects and one man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving. On Saturday last Gardaí seized and examined ten cars in total as part of Operation As part of Operation Curb, details of which have been released today. The operation aims to detect cars that have been modified over the legal limit as well as educate drivers. Bus Eireann Announces Expansion Of Services Across Clare

Clare FM Text 086 1800 964 14th December 2020 Bus Éireann says new services it’s announced for Clare will open up more travel opportunities for people living in this county. 120 new drivers are being recruited as part of what the company has described as it’s most significant service enhancement in 15 years, which will see more buses on roads in this county, as well as in Limerick, Tipperary, Cork and Navan. Clare Psychiatrist Insists More Resources Needed For Children s Mental Health Services

Clare FM Text 086 1800 964 The Nightshift 10th December 2020 Picture © Pixabay A West Clare Psychiatrist believes the covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the urgent need for extra investment in children’s mental health services. The Department of Health has told the Oireachtas mental health sub-committee that demand for children’s mental health services has increased by just under a quarter between 2012 and 2019. There were 13,200 referrals to the child and adolescent mental health service last year while over 2,100 boys and girls are on the waiting list for specialist care.
