A Facebook benefit auction known as Buck up for the Buchwitz’s has been started by Dawn Nitschke Gertner to assist Twila Buchwitz and her family as Twila deals with a serious health issue. The funds will allow Kirk, Twila and their four sons to focus on getting her well again.

Sullivan Lake West Agricultural Society is holding its AGM on Monday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. At this time the meeting is being planned as a Zoom meeting unless the restrictions change before then. The group is looking for some people to fill the positions of secretary and treasurer for a two-year term. Training will be provided. It takes volunteers to keep communities strong.
Since Byemoor and Endiang don’t have a bottle depot, Big Valley Bottle Depot has begun a service to pick up bottles in Byemoor on many Saturdays. It you are interested in having the Big Valley Depot pick up your bottles call 403-876-2640 to arrange. It is operated by Sabrina Cartwright. She and Mario and their boys lived at Byemoor a few years ago.

Everyone is enjoying the mild winter weather we have been fortunate to receive. It will certainly help shorten the winter and makes life easier without deep snow and frigid cold to battle. Hopefully, the good weather will continue.
