On the Lookout: vandal undeterred by apparent foot injury Wag N Wash Vandal (Courtesy CSPD) Sometime overnight between February 6th and 7th, a male vandal broke into the Wag N Wash near Powers Boulevard and Stetson Hills Boulevard in Colorado Springs. A surveillance camera shows the suspect wearing a medical boot on his right foot. But, despite his apparent injury, he was able to do several thousand dollars worth of damage to the establishment. Detectives believe the male suspect is in his 30s. He was wearing a white ballcap with a blue rim, one yellow glove, and one white glove.

We appreciate your support of local journalism. On March 11, a Pueblo County Sheriff s Deputy was dispatched to the 6600 Block of Highw 165 in Colorado City at about 12:53 p.m. on a report of theft. Contact was made with the victim, who reported he was from out of town visiting family. He was staying at the Days Inn, and left his silver Toyota Highlander parked near the south exit of the parking lot. Upon returning to his vehicle, the owner found the glovebox open and his Springfield Armory 1911 pistol was missing.

Pueblo crime beat: Man reports teens allegedly assaulted him for no reason

Pueblo Police officers responded to the 2000 block of Troy Avenue on Tuesday at about 8:34 a.m. on a report of alleged assault. Once on scene, officers made contact with a victim who was being checked by EMTs. The victim said he had been in the field at the reported address at 3 a.m., when three Hispanic males allegedly assaulted him for what he said was  no reason. The three suspects were listed as juveniles, and an investigation is ongoing. Car fire suspected as arson Police responded to the 2400 block of West 15th Street at about 5:10 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of a car fire.
