There was a very tragic incident that took place earlier this week in Florida where an FBI agent from Colorado lost her life. That is why Colorado Governor Jared Polis has ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff. This means all flags are to be lowered from sunrise to sunset on all public buildings across Colorado to remember and honor the life of FBI Agent Laura Schwartzenberger.
Schwartzenberger was 43 years old at the time of her death while on duty attempting to serve a court-ordered federal search warrant for an investigation into violent crimes against children, according to The Denver Channel. Agent Schwartzenberger wasn t the only FBI agent that was killed during this operation, as the FBI is also honoring the life of special agent Daniel Alfin, there were three other agents wounded all expected to recover.
