남양주시립합창단 오페라 ‘카발레리아 루스티카나’ 특별기획공연 남양주시제공경기 남양주시립합창단이 오는 15일부터 17일까지 3일간 다산아트홀에서 오페라 ‘카발레리아 루스티카나’ 공연을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
오페라 는 이탈리아의 유명 작곡가인 피에트로 마스카니(Pietro Mascagni)의 작품으로, 1980년대 시칠리아 섬에서 벌어지는 남녀 간의 사랑과 배신, 복수를 가감 없이 그린 작품이다.
대표적인 곡으로는 합창곡 ‘오렌지 향기는 바람에 날리고’와 아리아 ‘어머니도 아시다시피’, ‘오 미소 짓는 꽃같이 아름다운 로라’가 있으며, 합창단의 하모니에 두 대의 엘렉톤과 오케스트라가 함께 어우러져 한층 입체적인 무대가 될 것으로 기대된다.
