Thursday, February 25, 2021 - 9:06 am To the Editor: When we reviewed the resumes of Louie Maine and Rick Eakins that were included in the February Board meeting packet, it was clear to us that Louis Maine has the background, experiences, and education that would make him the obvious choice for appointment to the Hopkinton Town Board to fill the vacancy created by Jody Wenzel s resignation. He has the skills and knowledge needed to ensure a bright future for our beloved town. With his unique background in forestry and surveying, he knows practically every square inch of the land that comprises our town. He also has the intelligence necessary to not only understand, but also investigate and research, some of the more complicated situations that face towns today.
