BBC BREAKFAST weather forecaster Owain Wyn Evans has become a fan favourite among viewers but prior to his TV debut his mother feared he would receive negative press .
Despite numerous appearances on other shows, the TV star has always maintained that BBC Breakfast was her “dream job”.
Carol claimed to love delivering the UK’s forecasts, even when she’s blamed for “ruining barbecues” due to inaccurate weather reports.
But Carol anticipates being “told” she can “no longer do the weather” one day in the future.
She told The Scottish Sun that losing her slot on BBC Breakfast would be “like losing a limb”.

Angela Rayner explained that she and the Labour Party are pushing for the Government to stick by their 2018 commitment to raise NHS pay by 2.1 percent. But BBC host Charlie Stayt then addressed the 2019 Labour Party manifesto which pushed for a five percent increase - highlighting a major U-turn from the political party. Ms Rayner clashed with the BBC host as she refused to give a straight answer on how much the NHS pay rise should be with a frustrated Mr Stayt stating You gave a number then, why not now?

TV Critic and regular BBC pundit Scott Bryan spoke about the sudden exit of Piers Morgan from ITV’s Good Morning Britain and where he could go next. He argued that there are a few new broadcasters that will be launched in the UK soon which could be a good fit for Mr Morgan. While there is no love lost between BBC host Dan Walker and Mr Morgan, the Breakfast presenter held back from gloating as the two presenters exchanged harsh words on Twitter over Mr Morgan’s resigning.
