Fire Destroys Lafayette Mobile Home
An electrical malfunction caused a fire that destroyed a mobile home fire on West Pinhook Road.
Investigators say that fire happened Sunday morning around 11:30 a.m. just south of Pinhook s intersection with Verot School Road.
According to firefighters, a neighbor alerted residents of the fire after seeing smoke coming from the roof. The family of six that lived in the house escaped uninjured.
