In his message to President of the Republic of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania Bzhania AslanPresident of Abkhazia , Vladimir Putin noted that relations between the two
countries, which are based on the principles of alliance and strategic
partnership, have been developing in a constructive manner in 2020. He
expressed hope for continued joint work to build up the entire range of bilateral ties for the benefit of the peoples of Russia and Abkhazia, and in the interests of strengthening regional security and stability.
