3 Killed in Motor-Accident Due to Speeding Dumper Another accident in Lahore. 1SHARES Three young men were crushed to death in a motor-accident with a speeding dumper near Gora Qabristan in Lahore. The three deceased were onboard a motorcycle that collided with the speeding dumper. According to Express Tribune,  rescue teams and police officials rushed to the scene when the accident was reported. Unfortunately, the young men had succumbed to their injuries by then. ALSO READ Police identified the victims of the fatal motor-accident as 20-year-old Omar, 18-year-old Zahid, and 21-year-old Ali. All three young men were residents of Corporation Chowk Outfall Road.

PAC chairman Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the amount paid to the foreign company may be recovered from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) if the report held the bureau responsible. Recently, the Pakistan government paid $28 million to Broadsheet company after the latter secured the verdict from the UK’s High Court.

Broadsheet head Kaveh Moussavi, in an interview to a web channel, had said that the Sharif family had assets not only in the UK but across the globe, adding that the family required plenty of explanation about their resources of amassing these assets.

Motorway police spokesman Syed Imran Shah told The Express Tribune that various portions of the motorways in Punjab are closed between 5pm and 9am depending on the situation of fog. The M2 motorway from Lahore to Islamabad, M3 from Lahore to Kot Abdul Hakim and M4 from Pindi Bhattian to Sham Kot are affected most frequently.

SAMAA - Lahore flights delayed after dense fog reappears

Over 18 flights to and from Lahore were delayed after dense fog enveloped the city on Friday morning. According to the spokesperson of the Allama Iqbal International Airport, three domestic flights landing and six taking off from the city have been delayed. On the other hand, six international flights flying from Lahore and five arriving flights faced a delay. The fog has affected road transport in the city as well. Motorways M-3 from Lahore to Darkhan and M-4 from Pindi Bhattian to Shorkot have been closed for traffic.
