There was once a time, seemingly a long time ago, when NFL rookie contracts were anything but certain. Teams who had a high draft pick would be held hostage by agents as they postured for more and more money.
Two Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) later, and now rookies signing their first professional contract has become just news which runs late on a Friday night without any fan fare.
For the Pittsburgh Steelers2021 NFL Draft class, it looks as if 6th round pick Quincy Roche, from the University of Miami, will be the first rookie to ink his contract. This per Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

Will Craig from Triple-A Indianapolis and designated righty
Sean Poppen for assignment in order to open a spot on the 40-man roster. Craig will take the active roster spot of infielder/outfielder
Phillip Evans, who is going on the 10-day injured list due to a hamstring strain. Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported earlier in the day that Craig would be brought back up to the MLB roster.

Ashton Goudeau off waivers. Craig went unclaimed on waivers and remained with the organization and headed to Spring Training as a non-roster player.

More than any other demographic group, senior citizens have been hit hardest by the pandemic, being the most vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus and recording the most hospitalizations and deaths. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that 8 of 10 deaths from COVID were people 65 and older.
Adding to the pain and death the pandemic has brought to seniors are psychological and social effects that for many have produced emotional misery and turmoil through isolation that closed outlets to communal life. Many, but not all.
Dr. Ellen Whyte, the director of geriatric psychiatry outpatient services for University of Pittsburgh’s Western Psychiatric Hospital, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, that although the issue is real for seniors’ well-being, it’s a mistake to generalize about any group.
