A man has been charged with manslaughter after reporting his friend’s disappearance to authorities on Friday, before police pulled the missing man’s body from the Albert River.
The man was reported missing by his friend about 7am, with the friend telling police the victim disappeared under the water’s surface in the Logan suburb of Eagleby, south of Brisbane.

The foster brother of murdered Queensland girl Tiahleigh Palmer has been charged over allegedly breaking into a business south of Brisbane.
Trent Thorburn, 24, has been charged with entering a premises and committing an indictable offence, after he and two teenagers were allegedly involved in stealing equipment from a business about 8pm on June 25 in the outer southern Brisbane suburb of Parkinson.
