Uttarakhand State Cooperative Bank organized its 15th Annual General Meeting at Haldwani, which was attended by scores of members associated with the bank. Soon after the meeting, talking to Indian Cooperative correspondent Chairman Dan Singh Rawat said, “We have presented a proposal before the delegates to make a world class training centre at Dehradun for co-operators, which was unanimously passed by the members. The bank will construct its own guest house and training centre at Dehradun to train co-operators. The bank made many announcements to take the bank to newer heights on the occasion, stated Rawat. It bears recall that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Sing Rawat and Cooperative Minister Dhan Singh Rawat have assured to give the 22 Bigha plot near Paonta Sahib road to the co-op bank. “We hope that we will get its possession in a few days and lay the foundation stone by the next month”, he said with a sense of satisfaction.
