Agilitas Energy is starting pre-construction work of its latest battery energy storage project, a 3 MW / 9 MWh lithium-ion system in Pascoag Utility District of Rhode Island, which will provide peak shaving services to the Pascoag Utility District and ancillary services to ISO-New England.

We are excited to work with the Pascoag Utility District by constructing one of the largest standalone battery energy storage systems in Rhode Island. It will obviate the need for adding costly transmission infrastructure and create a win-win for all parties including the Pascoag’s customers.

Tradition continues at Ted’s Bait and Tackle as Big Bear takes ownership

BURRILLVILLE – Ted’s Bait and Tackle at 660 Reservoir Road in Pascoag has been a staple in the fishing community of northern Rhode Island since the 1950s, and now under the ownership of Big Bear Hunting and Fishing, the tradition should continue for decades to come.

The requests for squid trips have been high, and they will be posting them as soon as they know that the squid are in. They will be posting tickets for their trips one week at a time, approximately two weeks ahead of time. The trips will be by reservation only, so be sure to book your seats ASAP! Captain Greg will be presenting seminars at the Black Hall Outfitters grand opening in Westbrook on Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to stop by if you’re in the area.
