Miss England contestants have posed without any make-up or filters in a round of the competition that promotes natural beauty.
This year s 34 regional finalists - including reigning Miss England and NHS doctor Dr Bhasha Mukherjee - have uploaded make-up free selfies to social media which the public can now vote on.
The no make-up round was first introduced by the pageant two years ago as a way to promote a more realistic body image, but contestant say the initiative is all the more fitting this year as it highlights the reality of lockdown.
Miss England organiser, Angie Beasley, said the round was introduced after she became shocked at the amount of young contestants undergoing lip filler treatments and Botox.

24-year-old Rebecca Jay Fearn has been named Miss Lincolnshire for 2020/21, and will represent the county in the Miss England awards this year.
Rebecca was chosen as the winner of the annual award on Saturday, February 20 during a virtual ceremony, organised by former DJ Phil Green.
She came out on top over eight other finalists during a group interview on Zoom, and was nominated after submitting a home made video of herself talking to camera and doing a catwalk.
The judging panel included current Miss Lincolnshire Ella Grace Bailey, as well as the reigning Miss England Bhasha Mukherjee, an NHS doctor who returned to work at Pilgrim Hospital to help during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lincoln City’s run in the Papa John’s Trophy came to an end as the Imps were defeated on penalties by Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The semi-final game remained goalless until Anthony Scully opened the scoring for the Imps, winners of this competition back in 2018, midway through the second half, but Charlie Wyke equalised for the Black Cats 10 minutes later.
With no extra time in this competition, the match went straight to a penalty shootout, and Lincoln substitute Remy Howarth was the only one to miss as Sunderland won 5-3 on spot kicks.
