Officials said 42-year-old John Freeman Colt walked away Wednesday morning and is considered absent without permission.  Colt was seen on video walking out of the Dillon Building on the Larned campus around 7 a.m.   He had shaved his beard and changed his hairstyle and used a fake identity badge to get through a security checkpoint. A member of the community picked up someone matching Colt’s description, and he was taken to Larned and dropped off at a convenience store.   Law enforcement officials are searching for him, and the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office has activated a local farmers’ alert.
